  Be careful not to use hairspray as you may have once heard. The sprays manufactured nowadays have alot of chemicals and oils that can actually spread the stain, causing more of an issue.

  Hidden Talents in your very own cupboards: While there may be a number of cleaners, stain removal and miracle products at the store, some of the items in your cabinets may be just as effective.

  Hydrogen Peroxide: Not only does it help fix boo-boo's, but it is a good stain remover - works great on blood stains or other fairly fresh stains - combine 1/2 cup with 1 teaspoon of ammonia..blot area, and wash as normal.

  White Vinegar: This is our miracle cleaner! We use it to clean inside windows, carpet stains, hard water stains. A mixture with water usually does the trick. On carpet stains, apply directly and then blot with a clean, wet cloth.

  Try this as well - Pour abit of white vinegar in a small container. To remove lime build-up on your bathroom faucets and shower heads, soak them in the vinegar for several minutes. Wipe off.

  Dryer sheets: Make a casserole last night? Can't get the pan clean without scrubbing a hole in the bottom of it? Try soaking it over night with a dryer sheet. Cooked on debris should be easy to remove in the morning.

   Gum Removal: Use a piece of ice to freeze spot. Take a butter knife and scrape it off carpet or other surface.

   Hard Water Rings: To remove these pesky rings, use a pumice stone. A vinegar solution also works well to remove water spots on shower doors, etc.

   Window Cleaning Inside: Mix 1/2 vinegar 1/2 water solution. Use a spray bottle to apply and a clean cotton rag to wipe off.

   Window Cleaning Outside: Use a few drops of dish soap in bucket with water. Use a sponge to apply and a clean squeegee to remove. Wipe off excess.

   Ink Spots: Ink spots on garments can usually be removed by applying a small amount of rubbing alcohol until spot lifts. Launder as normal. You may also try the same method with white, non-gel, old fashioned toothpaste.
